If you use the copyrighted materials or trademarks on this website without express written permission from me, then you may be violating copyright, trademark, and other laws.

The materials and information contained on this website have been prepared by me for information purposes only. The materials and information may not reflect the most current legal developments or actions by regulatory authorities and are subject to change without notice.

Transmission of the information contained on this website (i) is not intended to create, and your receipt does not constitute, an attorney-client relationship, (ii) is not intended as a solicitation, (iii) is not intended to convey or constitute legal advice, and (iv) is not a substitute for obtaining legal advice from a qualified attorney. You should not act upon this information without seeking the advice of qualified professional counsel. I am committed to respecting the privacy rights and concerns of users of www.strebecklaw.com (the “Site”).

Types of Information I Collect:

I collect personal information from you only to the extent that you submit it to us through email or through the “Contact” or newsletter signup forms on this website. Personal information means information that can be used to identity or contact you. We will use personal information to respond to your request and to update you regarding legal developments.

Cookies and Web Beacons:

Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. These cookies are used to store information, such as the time that the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before and what site referred the visitor to the web page.

One type of cookie in use on the Site is for Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a web analytics tool that helps website owners understand how visitors engage with their website. Google Analytics customers can view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with their website so that they can improve it.

Like many services, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to track visitor interactions as in our case, where they are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. I then use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the Site.

How We Will Share Your Personal Information With Third Parties:

We will share the personal information we collect from you under the following circumstances:

(i) Protection of rights. I will share personal information if I have a good faith belief that (i) access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, such as a court order or subpoena, or a request by law enforcement or governmental authorities, (ii) such action is necessary to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues associated with the Site, or (iii) such action is appropriate to protect the rights, property or safety of my law practice, its employees, or clients.

(ii) Asset transfers. If I become involved in a merger, acquisition or other transaction involving the sale of some or all of our assets or a line of business, user information, including personal information collected from you through your use of the Site, could be included in the transferred assets. Should such an event occur, I will use reasonable means to notify you through a prominent notice on this website. By sharing your personal information with me, you are giving me consent to transfer your personal information to a third party in an asset transfer described here.

(iii) Service Providers. I may share your personal information with third party vendors or service providers that I engage for the purpose of technical support or processing information on my and your behalf.

Governing Law:

This Privacy Policy is governed by, and construed under, the laws of the United States of America and the laws of the State of California, excluding its choice of law provisions.
