Confused about trademarks? Check out my new guest post on Stonemaier Games’ Kickstarter Lessons

Hello everyone! I’ve got a new post up on the Stonemaier Games Kickstarter Lessons blog.

What’s it about?

This one is about likelihood of confusion in trademark law. When you’re trying to decide whether or not your brand name is “too close” to another game or website’s name, this is the analysis you do.

I get asked this question all of the time, and while the answer is never easy, having this basic knowledge about likelihood of confusion can help weed out the obvious infringements.

So check it out and let me know what you think! I’ll have another post up in the next few days – see you then.
